Stoli Blakberi was one of the final four from are bracket in March, I thought a closer look at this Blackberry vodka would be nice. Stoli is known for its vast selection of flavored vodkas that blend exceptional well to make creative cocktail or enhance classic ones. The Blakberi flavor is a newer addition to the lineup but has been around for a couple of years. When I first came across Stoli Blakberi I feared that it would simply remind me of Stoli Raspberi. Instead I quickly learn it has a flavor all to its own which makes it a strong addition to any bar.

Stoli Blakberi dances on the tongue with a flirty delight; this smooth vodka with an essence of blackberry is what you get, the blackberry flavor is welcomed. This makes it an easy drink over ice by itself or as a martini with a fresh blackberry as a garnish. Blackberi also works well with mixers such as pineapple juice, sour mix, tonic, Sprite, soda water, cranberry juice, lemon juice and Ice tea… Duh! (If you don’t know Ice Picks where the bracket drink)

Okay so how do we feel about this Blackberry vodka, strongly this could easily become a statement flavor for Stoli. On the level of the Vanil or Raspberi flavors from Stoli which are part of a bar’s foundation. Yes, that is how much love there is for the Stoli Blakberi; from the fragrance as soon as the bottle is cracked to the last taste of the bottle. I do not recommend finishing a bottle in one session, yet it happens. This is vodka giving you all of the things you would want and more it is smooth, flavorful and playful.

Because of this I am leaning towards 5 out of 5, and yet I can’t do it. Stoli Blakberi is a strong representative of the flavored vodka world. It however lacks that it factor my immediate impression was that it would remind me of anther vodka Stoli Raspberri. After that I thought about the fact that it doesn’t make you want to drink it all the time, you will find yourself going back to other things in time. Something like a Stoli and tonic or soda a classic cocktail. This is not saying it’s not… a great vodka. It just falls victim to being a flavored vodka and in that category it is a 5 out of 5. For a flavored vodka it is near perfect. It just is not a classic which you must be for a perfect score instead it is highly recommended; beyond worthy of the score giving and one day I may regret the judgment it is giving only time will tell.
